FTTP 900 with multiple static IPs

[link to this post]

I'm currently with A&A with a FTTC connection but as of today my property is showing as FTTP available so I've started looking at FTTP 900 packages. I would love to stay with A&A but I'd like more than the 160/30 they offer.

One of my main criteria is that I need multiple static IPs. A /29 allocation like A&A offer would be perfect. Most providers only mention a single static IP rather than if they are available to provide multiple.

The only provider that I've seen that explicitly mentions multiple static IPs are Cerberus. Does anyone know any other providers that will offer multiple static IPs with the FTTP 900 package?

On FTTP from the larger providers, the business side of offerings of Zen, as said offer various sized blocks of IPv4

As does BT Business, who I think will do up to a /28 block.

Talk Talk Business I believe offer up to 4 additional, so effectively a /29.

I have a /30 with Cerberus, on the 300M package - 900M is twice the cost and I really don't need any more.

Depending on what you need the static IPs for, another option is to access the AAISP L2TP service (£10 per month) via another ISP - even one which only does dynamic IPs.

You'll be limited to 100Mbps and I think 1TB per month over the L2TP tunnel, but you could keep that for inbound access to services, whilst using your 'native' route for outbound Internet access. When moving to L2TP you could probably keep your existing AAISP IP block too.

Depending on what you are needing the IPv4 public addresses for, could you perhaps switch to IPv6? You'll get trillions of addresses then smile

Over £8/m for a /29 really shows the state of IPv4.

Goodbye Hyperoptic. Now VM200 frown

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll check some of those providers out. I'd love to go IPV6 only but unfortunately still need IPV4 for now.

For some reason the BT Wholesale Checker is now showing the rate for WBC FTTP as 330 / 50. Last week it was showing 900 / 220 (or something around there). Does anyone have any ideas why it might have changed since last week?

Due to this the FTTP 900 services are no longer listed for my property on any of the providers sites which is annoying.

idnet do static ipv4 inc a /29 subnet - just call/email them and ask for info.

Either the local network is having capacity concerns presently or Openreach have used ECI kit in the local network.
