FTTP rollout on exchange stalled?

[link to this post]

My local exchange was listed as part of the Market Towns and Villages rollout that Openreach announced in early 2020, originally due to be completed by end of March 2021.

After a flurry of Openreach/Kelly Communications vans around the village last year, about half of the village got enabled for FTTP - from what I can tell it was a mixture of properties served by both poles and ducts.

Anyway, nothing's happened since. It's like they've just not bothered with several of the cabinets, which is...frustrating.

I've not been able to get any useful information out of Openreach on the normal channels, but I'd just like to know that a) we've not been forgotten about, and b) they're not taking the p**s by publicly "committing" to build out to hundreds of exchanges by a particular date, then abandoning the builds halfway through.

Is this a common pattern around the country? Is there any way to get even a ballpark date (at this point I'd take a year!) out of Openreach? Any help/information/context greatly appreciated!

If you name the town/village, someone here might have some information.

Yep, saw that. But like I said, aside from a flurry of activity last year up until probably September-time, there's been no sign of any FTTP rollout activity since, just the odd Openreach/Kelly van doing business-as-usual connections.

When my city was done, they done the easier jobs first - they missed my street initially due to buried armoured leads.

I spoke to the Exec team who advised it was skipped due to needing to install a new duct on the other side of the road to connect the houses opposite of me (the chambers are on my side).

They came back around 2 months ago (about a year after the rest of the area was done) and put the duct in to cross the road and built a new chamber over there).

The village just over from us is in a similar situation, fibre routed to poles back in 2019, lots of work in the surrounding areas seemingly to put in backbone connections, as far as I can tell no houses have actually been connected to FTTP.

Does the Openreach Fibre Checker say anything like below when you pop in your postcode and select your property?

"We're starting to build our ultra-fast, ultra-reliable Full Fibre broadband in your area
