FTTP Fibre 900 Upload Query

Hi,

Had FTTP installed a few months ago and been enjoying download speed of 900 but I’ve noticed my upload is always between 85-100 but never ever goes to the 110+ as I’ve seen with many people on this package.

I’ve tried 2 different routers and connected directly to the ONT and it won’t go above 100. Tried different devices too. Same. Result.

I know it’s not much of a difference but I’m curious to know why I can’t get 110+ on the upload side of the connection.

Anyone else have the similar upload on the same package.

Business or Residential? And what modem/router/hub have you used?

Residential, and it’s the Nokia ONT connected to an ASUS AX88u router. I have also tried the BT SmartHub 2 and same results and a direct connect to the ONT

There is/was an issue with BT Business hubs only giving 30-35 on a 50 upstream when a Residential Hub, direct PPPoE or another router brand would give a full 50. Obviously not connected with that.

Yeah no idea how to get the 110+ mark. Can’t really complain getting 900/100. But always curious how to push that upload to 110

Which other testers have you tried?

I used to get 118Mb upload. It appears BT wholesale changed the profile speeds.
