Hopefully just a quick question. My exchange (Oakham) was added to the FTTP rollout plans in May. I know that this could still mean we might not see any signs of it coming for 3 or 4 years yet but when I enter my details into the checker it still brings back "At the moment, we don't have any plans to upgrade your area to full fibre" which seems contradictory. Does this just mean they haven't set any dates yet or has the check still not been updated?

Re: Exchange added to rollout plan in May, Checker says no p
The OpenReach checker is only checking your specific address.
The exchange being listed in a roll out doesn't mean every (or any) address on that exchange shows as in plans.
It doesn't guarantee you'll be covered.
If/when your street/property has been surveyed and they've decided to roll out to your specific address they will add the address to the online checker.
Many streets and individual properties/apartments get completely skipped in a rollout.
This can be for lots of different reasons such as cost, wayleave issues, unadopted roads etc.
Sadly even when an exchange is added to the Fibre First programme its extremely unlikely that 100% of the exchange will get FTTP for one reason or another, hopefully when they do start rolling out in your exchange area you will be one of the lucky ones
