Request to anyone in a planned cityfibre area.

Can you please check the cityfibre checker and report if it still says planned or the now generic we will contact you with any news?

For most of my city it no longer says planned and their work has stopped.

The checker is here.

Thanks, I get the second now. It used to say planned.

Interesting to see they have changed the message though, I got hopeful when I read your reply but it definitely is the second one. frown

Same with other city postcodes I checked as well.

How do you know which phase you in? Are Cityfibre rollouts always city wide?

Which city are you? Someone might know something if you're willing to admit where you live!

Just remembering, I thought it used to say "planned" too. Either false memory syndrome or its now more generic even for areas they are rolling out in. Maybe so they can change their mind later...

"We'll soon start building our Full Fibre network in your area."

They are currently working in my street at the moment. They damaged a gas pipe yesterday haha.

EDIT: I'm in phase 1 it appears, Eastbourne.
