G.Fast - Can a new subscriber get it?

[link to this post]

Following on from my previous post, I have been looking at buying a house, as a first time buyer.

During my search I found a property that (according to the BT Wholesale checker) can get G.Fast, as shown here. However looking at some of the major providers none of them quote the higher potential speeds.

Is G.Fast not available to new subscribers?

CJT.

Currently on Hyperoptic 100Mbps ...

Previously on NOW TV Broadband up to 38 Mbps, then BT Broadband up to 80Mbps, then Pluse8 Broadband up to 80 Mbps

G.fast are available with unchained ISP with 330/50 but expensive at £56.99 a month and you will get free installation with openreach gfast modem, free setup and including free static ip address for line only. Gfast are with talktalk business backhaul. And it 12 months contract.

Have you checked talktalk TALKTALK the Fibre 250 states average speed of 290 Mbps so is probably the same speed tier.

Many Thanks,

The DO offer above 80/20 speeds, interesting that they are the only "mainstream" ISP I am aware of so far.

Thanks for that.

Fastest G.Fast predicted speeds I have seen. The cabinet might be right outside the front garden smile
