Openreach & new generation CommScope 'Novux HST' CBTs

[link to this post]

Anyone know if Openreach have moved onto using the new generation of CommScope made Novux HST range of connectorised terminals, as per their press release and media articles from June last year?

These look a lot smaller/neater than the original MST range from Corning and CommScope.

Original MST range dimensions

New Novux (HST) CBT style from CommScope

I've seen a few CBT's go up in last week or so and they were still Cornings, although doesn't mean they are not going up else where.

Thanks dect. Yeh I’m not aware of any either, hence my question.

I know that Openreach are using lots of CommScope gear at the headend - the ODF trays, and associated modular ‘snap-in’ components like the WDMs are all CommScope.

Suppose they will look to keep a multi-source supplier arrangement in place for their fibre based outside plant in any case. Lots of Prysmian kit still going in out there in the node closures for splitters and aggregation nodes.

I was just looking at what you posted and interestingly the CommScope Novux range also has an option for combined CBT and splitter (second level splitting) which was presented by Openreach at one point using Cornings but never implemented. I also note an option for a different connector with multiple fibres to the building.
