Hey all,
I posted about Openreach working on our pole a few months ago and was lucky enough that the service went live a few weeks later and I was able to get myself upgraded. Meanwhile I'd been watching the gradual rollout to the rest of Banbury with interest, frequently annoying the missus with a running commentary of which street I'd last spotted activity in - but then it all just ground to a sudden halt. The very next pole along from ours has had its CBT taped against it at eye level for months, and one street over there's a pole with a big old loop of fibre just dangling down with nothing on the end and the Openreach vans have all but vanished.
I'm thankful that I'm not directly affected by any of this, but does anybody have any insight as to what might be going on? It's bizarre that they were making such rapid progress and then just suddenly stopped!
