TBB speed test.

Could someone explain why the yellow line stays fairly level and the green one fluctuates, the speeds are nearly identical, thanks.

Single thread performance (green) will always have a higher degree of variability than multi-thread performance (yellow) which tends to average/smooth across the individual streams to maximise the overall throughput - in this case across 6 single-threaded streams.

Think of it like traffic in a multi-lane motorway - one or more lanes can be relatively slow and the third may move faster.
