CityFibre - LOC?

[link to this post]

I've had the various letters informing me that CityFibre is coming and I'll be able to order soon etc, they started digging up the roads in the area, including one end of the road I live on (just standard residential bungalows, no flats or other weirdness - the whole immediate area is the same in fact) late last year, and into the early part of this year.

I fully expected them to do the rest of the road at some point, then I'd be able to order, but have now been informed that my address has now been placed in "LOC" which apparently makes it not feasible for a connection?

Is there some way of finding out what the actual issue is, as there doesn't really seem to be any practical reason why they can't do what they did with the other part of the road from what I can tell? They must be planning on coming down this end of the road at some point as they had an additional telephone pole installed in the verge a few doors up, which seems at odds with Limit of Construction?

Ah, so it could be a soft LOC while they wait for other work... I guess I'll try the emailing the CEO trick.

Hi,

Wondering if you were able to make it work finally? I have run into a similar problem and CityFibre has told me that it's not feasible as their record notes "Hard LOC, cannot pass property"

Would appreciate any suggestion/guidance from you. Thank you!
