Leased Line (Cisco C111-8P) and UDM Pro Setup

[link to this post]

Hi, im just looking for a little help setting up our newly activated Leased Line (Cisco C111-8P router) with our UDM Pro, never dealt with LL's before so any help would be great. I have all the IP details from them provider and have briefly tried to configure the UDM but end up with no connection. Am I missing something obvious? THanks

DIA and leased lines aren’t as simple to get running as a domestic internet connection. There’s a wide variety of IP configurations that your supplier could have issued.

My advice in the first instance would be to get back in touch with your supplier and arrange a telephone appointment with their techical team, so that you can both walk through the configuration at the same time.

Sometimes they haven’t actually activated the service or their managed router (or indeed there could be a small misconfiguration).

May be this forum needs a dedicate 'Leased Line' section due to all these recent questions on them.

If this is legit you sound like you've got a managed service, as opposed to a just wires solution. Advise you call your provider, as they really should of provisioned this for you.

How big is the subnet they've provided and what is the IP of your first hop on the Daisy network?
