I wrote this elsewhere but thought it might be useful to any of the good people here curious about it.
It's all PIA, there is a splitter node in the Openreach pit closest to us with a CBT fed by that splitter in another pit, so the fibre goes from the CBT in a neighbouring pit past the splitter node then to the property, about 70 metres.
The existing Openreach duct was used with a very, very tidy bit of work to spur off and feed the Netomnia CBT.

It goes into a flange and patch cable where it makes its way into a cabinet and the ONT, the device on the left as you look at it, on the shelf:

The ONT itself is an Adtran 622v, provided because the 10G port was needed. They'll provide this if you take their phone or 10G service else it's a 621i.
