Gigaset 475IP or Gigaset 300IP Web GUI issue

[link to this post]

Hello. Has anyone else encountered a strange issue with accessing the Gigaset IP boxes web interface using a computer VS mobile phone. I can not access them from any computer., whilst accessing from a mobile phone browser all works well.I tried different laptops and computers, several browsers. All i get is a messed up web page. Using the phone all works well.Took the boxes to a friend and tried on their network. Same issue.Ideas?

Just an idea, but have you tried shrinking your browser window horizontally, so that the width is more like a mobile phone view?

I always use a computer web browser to access a Gigaset N300 web interface. The computer is connected to the same local network and I enter the (static) IP address of the N300 which I know and can be displayed on a connected Gigaset phone if you know the N300 pin. Some routers will display the IP addresses of connected devices.

Absolutey no issues with a N300A-IP Same interface and firmware as N300IP just with an answerphone.

Have just been through several pages and all are fine - Win 10 and Firefox browser - both on same LAN.

Thank you for your replies. Just to make this clearer. Been using Gigaset boxes since early 2008.
I have 3 boxes. two have this strange issue. No matter on whos network I use them. The web UI loads only partially while using the computer- any computer any browser. .I have factory reset them twice. While accessing via rhe phone the web UI loads without an hitch .This drives me crazy smile

Have you called GigaSet Tech support - they are normally very good.

I too have been using Gigaset for a long time, the only issue I have is that sometimes there is a glitch after an overnight update and the date/time is wrong - which is easily sorted.

I assume when you've tested different browsers and different PCs that has ruled out any advert blockers, but it would be worth double checking.

If you try and load the page with Chrome or Edge developer tools open, are there any errors on the console? Any errors in the network trace where it can't load a resource?

Thank you. As I mentioned I have 3 boxes , One of them has no access issues , the 2 others do have issues. So my logic says something is messed up in their firmware. Tried updating their firmware using the phone access, but got a message that latest firmware in up to date..
To another question: no I have not called Gigaset support yet. Hoped someone has had this issue, but seems now I am the only one as nothing shows up in any search on google for this issue.
Will continue investigating and report back if and when i find a solution.
Thanking everyone for helping out

By factory reset, I assume you mean "Returned to Delivery Version"?
