Openreach FTTP but not in rollout

[link to this post]

Hello all,

This isn't for my exchange just in general, Currently there is a couple of areas (new builds) that's on my exchange that are getting FTTP via Openreach but its not in the rollout plans for other homes in the area.

But does anyone know why areas like mine aren't in the rollout plans when (I think) the exchange is FTTP enabled for these homes or does it come from a closer enabled exchange

Thanks and sorry for the ramble

It's because they are new builds, so some network would have to be built to them anyway, and there's no point doing it with copper. All the civils work off the public highway is done by the housing developer.
