Ordered FTTP then cancelled

[link to this post]

I placed an order for FTTP with TalkTalk as its now available in my area last Thursday, over the weekend had regrets mainly as I'm going to be hit with 2 price increases during my contract. So today I cancelled the order, am I ok to reorder with a different ISP or do I need to wait a set amount of time?

I have no confirmation that the orders cancelled. Also Openreach turned up today to do a preliminary install, when I said I cancelled he said he wont carry out the work then.

However knowing Talktalk, wouldn't be surprised if its not been cancelled, would this cause any problems?

The only limitation that's set by TalkTalk is the 20 day limit to cancel without penalty. Otherwise you are completely free to order a service with another ISP.

Just make sure your cancellation is put in writing - and you do eventually get a confirmation from them.
