Swish Fibre : Plume Pods vs TP-Link Deco X50 AX3000

[link to this post]

There are a number of things I don't like about the Plume Pods - that their size blocks a second socket is not a small one [pun intended].

Has anyone any experience of using the TP-Link Deco X50 AX3000 mesh devices with a Swish Fibre ONT?

I share your reservations about the plume pod. I don't know anything about the Deco, but I use a much more modest TP-Link Archer C6 with the Swish ONT with no probs at all, so I would expect that it should work fine.

While I don't have specific experience with the Deco X50, I am a Swish customer. Confirming that they use DHCP without any "options" or other complications, so you should be good to go (no need for PPPoE).

Hi,

I can confirm we have other customers on the network using Deco directly connected to our ONT via the 10GE port.

Installation should be plug and play with the Deco app but if you run in to any problems, the team are on hand to offer assistance should it be needed smile

All the best,

Chris.
