New Openreach Poles

[link to this post]

Openreach are putting a fair few new poles up in Wakefield, I think VMED, CityFibre and Netomnia may have taxed all the pole space.

Having to build a new chamber as no room in the inn / chamber. New duct to resolve congestion. Gets expensive being late to the party!

The new poles installed in my neighbourhood are all Toob labelled. Will be interesting to see how they’re used.

OR have installed loads of new poles here (LE3 Leicester).
A few weeks after CityFibre dug and put some new poles in themselves.

Now there are cables between existing poles and these new ones, looks like they are not bothering digging and just stringing the new fibre overhead.

It does look a mess (some poles have 5-6 wires between, all at different heights, very untidy!

I'd guess that OR cant access the ducts/blocked etc, so they decided to do it overhead.

Exclusively by Toob from what I’ve seen.
