In my street FTTP is here as I have mentioned before but I I have still not decided who to go with yet. My friend lives around the corner and his fibre was installed to the poles about the same time as mine but is still not available to buy yet. The broadband checker has changed from 330 on demand to 1000 on demand. Is there a time scale for making it available or is it a wait and see thing. He is with BT and he has been on the site and using the next doors number checked what is available. The only thing showing is 4g broadband no FTTC at all. Other ISPs are showing FTTC using his post code.Is BT coming out of selling broadband and moving all to EE.

I'm in the same situation as your neighbour.

Two weeks ago, the pole that serves my house went live for FTTP. Some of my neighbours were able to order immediately. Others, including me, simply saw a change of the checker from FTTPoD 330 to FTTPoD 1000.

I've seen a lot of people on various forums saying that FTTP WBC usually follows in a few days, but I have also seen a few instances where people wait months after the change to FTTPoD 1000.
