can anyone help please? lvcen? any non adsl options?

[link to this post]

hyperoptic has been saying they're "rolling out in my area" for almost 2 years now, so they're a write off. samknows doesn't really exist anymore, so i have no idea how to check anything.

i'm connected straight to the exchange, no cab, and am fed up of being on 26Mb, then it being lowered to 24, then 20, then, several years later - 15Mbit (after an outage that lasted hours) and being told i was "always" on 15 Mbit. i had three 5g home internet which has been stuck on 4g and intermittently on literal dial up speeds (literally 4KB/sec) during the day. it comes alive at night - which is meaningless.

do i have any option for not [censored] internet, or am i just stuck waiting for another 14 years in the vain hope of 21st century internet?

Have a look at the Openreach FTTP Plans and enter your post code.

Watch out for alt nets usually FTTP building where you live.

75/month, plus i'd have to have the sat inside which would have a very limited view of the sky.

Just because Three doesn't have good 5G coverage doesn't mean no network has it. Worth checking the other ones.

Presumably you still have the hardware, but be aware that an external antenna can make a significant difference.

Worth checking the other ones.

Use https://bidb.uk with postcode and you can hover over the network maps for all 4 operators. Gives an idea, but still always worth testing with a smartphone outdoors to get an idea of what is really in the area.

nothing changed on my end. home home 5g and mobile 5g went to [censored] at the same time. comes to life overnight which to me indicates massive oversubscription (IMO).

had a look (thanks), no options other than EE. unlimited 5g seems quite expensive from them though.

hyperoptic has been on 'stage 2' for ages, maybe i'm just destined to wait and have [censored] internet.
