Youfibre 8 gig ONT

Has anybody got the Youfibre 8 gig service?

I was wondering what ONT they use and what medium does it use to pass 8 gig onto the router? Does if have a fibre output to connect to a router with an SFP wan port?

An ISPReview article says they supply this router and it appears to have a copper 10Gb port

It's rj45 10gb port on the ont. No sfp on the ont either. I have one

If you have a router whose only 10G port is SFP+ then you can buy a copper SFP+ module to convert to RJ45, although they're quite expensive (around £80)

£44.99 via amazon and the 10gtek module.

Some sfp+ switches can be a bit touchy with rj45 modules. Youfibre are actually using the giant Asus rog gt-axe16000 for the 10gbit(8gbit actual package)

I'm using a ms01 running pfsense with sfp and/or rj45. Ready to upgrade from 2gb

The 10gtek ones work fine with the x701 sfp ports too.

i have the 8Gb service myself, i was on the 1Gb service prior to this, i'm using the same ONT i had before its an Adtran 622v, it outputs the 10Gb via an RJ45 copper port
