FTTP Availability Issue for Small-Sized MDUs in S. London

[link to this post]

I am encountering an issue with FTTP availability in South London (SW2) and am wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Openreach has confirmed that the roll-out in my area is complete. However, upon checking their Wholesale Checker for my street (which is all MDU's), I've noticed a peculiar pattern:

*MDUs with 5 or fewer flats have FTTP available to order.
*Larger MDUs (although still small- my street is all blocks of 4-8 flats) do not have FTTP availability.

As a director of the Resident Management Company for my block, I initially suspected a wayleave issue, but on contacting Openreach it seems that comes after the availability checker indicates it's available to order.

I personally observed contractors installing fibre in ducts outside my block about three months ago so it's frustrating to know it's been installed, marked as completed but still isn't available.

Openreach is currently the sole provider in our area and we're on a red route, which may limit alternative providers for some time too.

I've contacted the CEO's office, but three weeks on and we're still investigating apparently. I'm wondering about the logistics/timescales of revisiting an area marked as "completed" in their system too.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?
