Any way to know what 2.5Gb ONT Openreach will install?

If I currently have a Nokia 1Gb ONT and am having a service installed that requires an ONT swap to one with a 2.5Gb interface, will this be to the Nokia device or could it be the Adtran?

It doesn't matter much either way but currently the Nokia ONT is in one of those wall mount cases that new builds get, and my understanding is the Adtran 2.5Gb ONT doesn't fit in them. If the swapped ONT is guaranteed to be a Nokia then that's less changing around of things that I would need to do on the day.

Install was today, Nokia 2.5Gb ONT is a straight swap for the old Nokia 1Gb ONT in the case. No guarantee that this is going to be everyone's experience.

I had my FTTP install in Suffolk upgraded back in May. Went from the original Huawei to a Nokia Nokia G-010G-T.

Unfortunately some provisioning between EE and Openreach went horribly wrong and it took them a further month (no kidding) to get the service operational. It didn’t bother me as I was running via an alternate connection.

Still the comp when it came through was decent, I may have an internet bill balance to pay next month 😂
