Frustrating Airband...

[link to this post]

Good afternoon all,

Just a bit of background on this issue...

We were installed with Airband back in July, but a lot of the properties within our postcode and one in another postcode were missed out for some unknown reason...

Since then, Airband engineers kindly extended the network to these properties nearly 3 weeks ago. However, there is one big problem, they are still not able to order. The engineers advised me that the properties would be live within a couple of days after the work was completed. I thought this was quick, but didn't expect it to now be taking nearly 3 weeks!

I have been asking a couple of the engineers to chase this and they have been kindly doing so for about 2 weeks, but apparently have had no response. Is this a sign that the properties may never go live or do these things actually take a long time to do and the engineers don't realise this?

Thanks,

Will

As per my reply to your identical thread over at ISPReview, these things can often take some time to be ready for service. Delay of many months are not unheard of, unfortunately. Three weeks is not a lot of time to be waiting. 3-6 months perhaps you’re entitled to a little moan 😉

Ironic, the database has started to be updated this morning and people are being able to order!
