Coming to an OR pole near you?

My wife spotted this earlier today in Shotton (Deeside)

The area is BT only, no Virgin or other alternative fibre operators.

Where would you rest your ladder?

You wouldn’t rest it anywhere on that pole Clive. Note the red square D label at head height.

The pole has been tested and marked as unsafe to climb. The most visible reason being the the spiked railings next to it.

Hoist required.

OMG.

Last week openreach chap was testing the wooden DP poles in our village.
some in our lane are 40 years old (I remember them being put in smile ) and they look better that the one above.

If that pole was in many central american countries there would be complaints of under utilisation.
