(may be 30 up)

Yep, 330/30 is the current top banana.
I don't know if you're aware of this but BT sell Infinity 4 as upto 300 down and upto 20 up.

Just like they sell Infinity 2 at 76 and 19.

Not really "just like" is it?

Infinity 1 52 down - 95% of 55
Infinity 2 76 down - 95% of 80
Infinity 3 200 down - 90% of 220
Infinity 4 300 down - 90% of 330

I just had an interesting live chat with BT about the upload speed on FTTP. They told me it's up to 20, but it's not guaranteed. I asked because the BT sales page doesn't mention the upload speed.

Can your customers see their 'sync' speeds?

The use of the future tense amused, as did that it was posted just in time for Openreach to raise install prices of FTTPoD.

At the time that was written cable was already doing 500Mb down, 50Mb up so could blow away 300/20 let alone match it going forward

You're saying that Virgin was offering 500 down / 50 up 3 years ago? Don't think so.

Not as far as I know, I wonder if the wholesale speed tester shows a profile ? I shall endeavour to find out when next I get an opportunity.

I do know when I have had a chance to play around with a 330/30 circuit the upload was just that, 30 meg. Mind you the really impressive thing on that particular case was the punter recording 305 meg via speediest.net using an iPhone 6s and wifi.

Not what I wrote, as you know given you quoted it, but do carry on responding to yourself rather than what was written if it makes you happy smile

I suggest you re-read the bit that you thought was funny and you'll see it was about Virgin.
