Which provider in London is providing Gig FTTP for £20?

Let me check the providers name I have it bookmarked.

It is WeFibre
I may have got it wrong they are partly in london but they are in Marsden, Blackpool and other areas.

My contact tells me they are only at the built stage at the moment so you cannot order yet however I have been told they might be doing trials in those areas for the reasons stated on their site.

Not in the UK, they exited the market by selling to BT plc and selling their shares. The French company Orange SA (formerly France Telecom) decided the UK wasn't the market for them, obvious in their lack of investment in the Orange mobile network since FT acquired it. Without the merger with T-mobile to form EE, the network would have been in trouble for the 4G revolution.

Whilst VM is Liberty Global owned today when the merger with O2 goes ahead the ownership will change quite dramatically.

So a network provider ...but without an actual network, just a waiting list...in Marsden (West Yorkshire) and Blackpool.

It's still a lower price and they have issued statements to where they are building and have already half built (to their target).
Its my understanding that they are selling services in the odd few places more as trials at a discounted rate where they post letters through doors in those areas with exclusive links however I cannot be sure directly as this is a rumor i have heard,

I simply stated what is available to me at my addresses, Its available to me just not at my UK address no lying from my part I did not explicitly state it was so it's not my fault if they assumed that when handing out deals, however I do state that i can get a better deal with talktalk for quicker speeds at this address as the average speed with VM is below openreach VDSL so its not false, samknows prooves this.

I know what's available to me in the next 24 Months and virgin also do which is why they are being very liberal as they know that City Fibre and Openreach are building so they don't want to lose all their customers, I know they will lose me and half my street that's for sure we have all been campaigning for decent broadband that's inline with what i have had previously (cheap 10 gig fibre which here cost the same as VDSL).

I'm simply stating that if you tell virgin what is available to you if you have multiple addresses but don't specify the location and when they ask what ISP I happily tell them because I can't deny that its not available as it simply is. I also make a point to make sure they know that i state that my current address has FTTP planned in the Openreach and Cityfibre builds as it is.

What you say (or don’t say) and do (or don’t do) with Virgin Media is completely up to you. But it’s all rather irrelevant in this thread is it not?

Let’s just safely say there is no network provider selling 1Gbps FTTP in London for £20 and call it quits.

I mean I know a guy that lives near me the village next door who became an ISP and ran FTTP through his street and his house is basically the data centre with a BT backhaul and he somehow keeps the costs below all over providers it's quite impressive I couldn't tell you the name as its websiteless its literally go to the door and say what you want and he will run the fibre in less than a week, sorted.
I feel like if we all got leased lines and did this to our streets we would probably make ourselves very unpopular but i don't ask questions as its nothing to do with me.

I mean you have a point I was just trying to say how i got a good deal with them and how i strongly suggest others check what is and what will be available to them as it gives them some wiggle room to lower the prices.

I know one thing I hope VM keep their international hotspots as we all do so much traveling these days don't we ha ha.
I mean if they become part of telefonica I see free international calls, texts and data or at least i hope so.
Orange / EE both work extremely well with the VM virtual network when moving around different countries at the moment while they use the EE network.

I know the Vodafone sims which virgin are now offering are not great in europe as they are paired with SFR (know for being the worst network for service and customer service, worse than virgin media(might be why they joined forces(to spread the misery)))

I guess we will see what happens I know i'll notice any changes that are made from frequent traveling (you know its a sign when border force know your name before they even see your passport).
