Got a letter from Zzoomm

[link to this post]

As title, I got a letter from Zzoomm yesterday, just my address, but different from the normal stuff they send as this was in an envelope I presume because I went through the motions of ordering until I got to pick the day for installation.

anyway, they have offered a 500Mb/s for £24.95 for 12 months, which is pretty good I must admit, telephone offer only, also 1Gb/s for £29.95. Got until the end of this month to order if I want it.

But you don't want it or need it, so you keep saying.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk, upgraded to fibre 40/10

Sometimes someone makes you an offer you can't refuse tongue

Adrian knows he's going to have to go full fibre at some point.

And we will all be relieved when he does tongue

The benefit of him having a 2 year contract is we don't have to go through all this every year 🤣

Do you seriously think this will bring an end to the narcissistic nonsense?

That looks like a very good deal. Also it would allow you to potentially keep the PN FTTC service until the end of June and hopefully the zzooomm FTTP broadband would be up and running within a few weeks from when an order was placed.

Good luck smile

I don't, need it and youy are right I really can't be bothered with the hassle to get it installed, but as billford said, sometimes a offer can make you think differently. £24.94 is what I was paying before the price increase last month. The only two I have seen that are lower is Onestream and shell by about £2 a month.
50p a week, what can I do with 50p a week? I suppose I can buy a packet of cheap peanuts.

i have about 1 and a half weeks to make up my mind,

I also had a leaflet from BT yesterday as well, full fibre and something about now TV and netflix, but that went straight into the bin
