Hi all, I hope someone can assist.
I have been with Quickline since November 2023, they are the only FTTH provider in my village, so moving is not an option.
At the start I was on the 900Mb/400Mb package and all was ok apart from the clunky router they provided. I recently "upgraded" to the 1000Mb/1000Mb and my download speed has been cut in half. I thought this was maybe due to my TP-Link AXE5400 not getting on with my line and this was maybe confirmed when they sent me an upgraded Zyxel router, which improved things a bit but was still not getting anywhere near the package description.
I checked my IP and it said my provider was Boundless Networks. I contacted Quickline about this and they failed to understand why I was connect to this network as it was only a provider of a wireless network which they bought out a couple of years ago.
Could this move of network be responsible for my slow speed? Quickline have not been in touch since my last query, about 3 weeks ago. Oh and Quicklines online ticket system is a joke.
Thanks in advance.
