Email "stuck" ('ish)

Can anyone help with a "nuisance" issue ??

I use Mailwasher Pro 5.2 to help weed out spam.
For some time, I've noticed that when Mailwasher starts, it isn't showing up all my Orange email (it shows some). To resolve this, I look at the mail via the Orange web site, then Mailwasher manages to show all the mail. One oddity - when I log onto Orange, it says "Could not poll all your POP accounts. Please check your settings on the Options page.", to which I respond "OK", then all is well.

Any ideas ??
