error code 0721

[link to this post]

Hello this post is on the behalf of a friend, who now is unable to access the Internet because of an error code No. 0721.
He has phoned Orange several times but hasn't been given a sensible reason and he's just being fobbed off without receiving any help with his problem.
Is there anyone else on this forum, who has suffered the same problem? If so please how did you cure it?
Myself I'm with AOL and was considering changing to Orange but my friends experiences with their admin has certainly put me off, so I'll stay with my current isp.

Extract from Orange online technical Support error codes 721
resolving DUN service and synchronisation issues
Livebox modems

As the Livebox uses an ethernet or wireless connection, a DUN error should not be received as the connection does not use Dial Up Networking to connect.

If a DUN error is received with the Livebox you may have an old Dial Up Networking connection set as your default connection. To resolve this issue advise on removing the tick from always dial my default connection.
