Signed up for orange but still on old isp

Does anyone know the max time it takes to transfer to orange,i was on nildram,ordered orange,got the mac code and all that,orange said 10 days max we are onto day 12,no live box and still on old isp,customer services said looking into it but as of yet we have had no response,has anyone had to wait longer than the 10 days orange says it should take.cheers

FWIW I was able to plug my Livebox in as soon as it arrived and get a connection, whilst my old ISP's connection was still working. Not sure how but it seems there is an overlap during the changeover when you are able to connect to either service. However, I can see how this wouldn't work if you are on an LLU connection.
