How long to correct a DNS problem ?

[link to this post]

How long does it normally take for an ISP to correct a DNS fault ? - the reason I ask, is because for a week or two now, I can hardly access any website.

I keep getting the timed-out error messages or no response from the server etc... It seems to work after a few refreshes of the page, but surely this isn't the way to enjoy surfing ?

I've spoken to Orange and they're going to look into it. If the issue's not resolved after Christmas, then I'm going to 02. And even if they have the same problem, hopefully their CS will know exactly what to do, in a fraction of the time.

O2 also suffer from occasional DNS problems, but it doesn't look like that's your current issue as you have tried the alternative DNSs. frown
