Keep losing connection

[link to this post]

I have an issue just now where my internet connection drops and the live box @ flashes slowly as it tries (I think) to synchronise. It stays that way until I either make an outgoing landline call or get an incoming landline call. Then the connection comes up. The connection stays up for a short while and then drops again. Any ideas what could be causing this?

have you got microfilters on all used phone sockets in your property ?

have you tried a quiet line test by calling 17070 with a corded phone ?

do you have any other phone extensions or sky box ?

I have microfilters on both of my phone sockets. I changed these over to 2 X spare I had earlier today. On phone socket 1 I have my livebox and also my phone extension for sky + box. (I have removed this temp. to see if it helps) On phone socket 2 I have my land line phone.

I have not tried a quiet line test - did not know about it but will try it.

Thanks
