hi, you should give the superhub back to your friend as he will be charged for it, it has to be collected/returned as virgin own it.
have you not get a orange router?

And it is probably a Cable Router, not an ADSL Router.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU BB => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU BB

You keep trying these unsuitable routers on Orange.

Your best bet is to buy a router on eBay, like a Netgear DG834GT or DG834G v4. You can get one new for about £15-£20 as I just done.

does the wirelesswork fine in the same room?
you could try putting the router on its side , (turn the router 90 degree).
on your laptop how many wireless networks are there.

if you have got a superhub these have only been around for a couple of months, if you have a cable router like the dlink dir615 or netgear you could connect it to your orange lan port

Hi, Wow! Virgin Media Super Hub have not seen that before

http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.contr...

The Netgear wireless signal problem, if your walls are covered with plasterboard it could be foil backed and will lower the wireless signal to other rooms.
