Moving to Orange broadband from being refused from O2

[link to this post]

I was on one of the old O2 legacy packages but as I had to change phone number O2 won't let me go back to their old unrestricted package.

I was looking at Orange Unlimited Broadband Only as I am a Orange customer and my exchange is both LLU & 21CN WBC but I am worried about the following:

1. How much is unlimited - I use about 90 - 100GB a month.

2. Is it true you can only use 5GB for the whole month from 6pm - 12am? Surely it can't be true?

Has anyone had a warning letter for going over the above?

Any advice to make up my mind would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Hi aaron, it is all changing on Orange; they are closing down the LLU network and moving users to WBC 21CN BT network, so we dont know what will happen as far as usage limits go.

Orange unlimited is considered unofficial 40GB per month, some have stated they use more and get no reaction from Orange.

That 5GB usage limit, (dont know if it still applies) would be on 8Mbps MAX network, where there is no Orange LLU or WBC 21CN at the exchange.
