Orange Livebox Or DGN1000?

i have been with orange since they were wanadoo and still have the original huge livebox.
they guy in the orange shop said i could ring customer services and upgrade to a DGN1000.
is it worth it? how will i benefit and is there a cost involved?

Hi, I understand Orange will exchange your Orange Livebox router for the Netgear DGN1000 router only if you sign up for a new 12 months contract and you must return your Livebox otherwise there is a £50 charge.

There is no Orange VoIP second line telephone connection with the Netgear DGN1000 router.
