I was migrated from Oranges BT Ipstream offering to WBC last Thursday & have seen a big jump in download speed from 7-14 meg so am very happy with that, but the upstream has not improved at all, will it get any better after the 10 day training period , the Noise Margin on the up stream seems pretty high to me at 30.4dB or is this normal after the switch.
my router stats are

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 16798 Kbps 445 Kbps
Line Attenuation 25.3 dB 14.8 dB
Noise Margin 6.4 dB 30.4 dB

When I was switched from LLU to WBC in April, the up sync started at 444 kbps. Within a few days it doubled to 888. Since then it has oscillated between 888 kbps on Interleaved and about 1.2 Megs on Fast Path.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC
