I am looking to move providers, so does anyone know, do orange offer a static IP?

Hi, never seen or heard of anyone using a static IP address with Orange. When I used Tiscali business broadband I had a static IP address, it was Tiscali then! Give Orange a ring and ask them, the phone call is free. wink

Call on 0800 079 8000 and select option 2

Dont bother calling, Orange dont do static IP

Next best thing is :-

Sign up to the free DynDns service, then enter the details in you router.
Using this when the router boots up it tells the dyndyns servers what it's IP Address is. The servers then update the DNS.

Result is a url that always works whatever the IP Address of your connection.
