After a lengthy conversation with a technical level 1 member at Orange, I got nowhere.
Whilst I understand there is a training period in progress, I still think there is an issue with the current upstream IP profile.
Here are my line stats:
Downstream
Line Attenuation 4.1 dB
Noise margin 4.3 dB
Modem Connection Speed 20739 Kbps
IP Profile 18.3 Kbps
Upstream
Line Attenuation 1.6 dB
Noise Margin 29.6 dB
Modem Connection Speed 444 Kbps
IP Profile 448 Kbps
The bt broadband tester says I have a downstream IP profile of 18.3 Mbps which seems fine, but the upstream IP profile is 448Kbps.
From what I can see, the Line Attenuation / Noise Margin for upstream could easily support higher upstream rates.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
