Orange Up & Down like a YoYo for the Jubilee

My usually stable Orange connection keeps disconnecting for the last 2 days of the hols, with low NMs reducing below 1 dB and slightly reduced sync.

Expect it is just my exchange and no one can get any engs in over the break.

Been up now for over 2 hours, longest it's been, with NM holding steady over 6 dB Interleaved instead of normal 3 dB Fast Path. Here's hoping.

I was in a coffee shop earlier in London with free orange wifi

It kept dropping and I logged into their router and could see the sync going... They kept all default values

Their line was dropping with an SNR of 6db. This was central london.
Don't know if it's just a coincidence (probably) or something wide-spread.

Over the holiday period my 20 Meg Orange WBC connection has been rock solid and I have been using BBC iPlayer a lot with no problems.
My 40” Samsung TV is connected with Ethernet to my 2Wire BT2700HGV router.

I always thought you are living on the edge with that 19 Meg sync and 3.0 dB Noise Margin on 20 Meg connection.

Why on the edge? I'm not forcibly tweaking it. It's what the DLM has continuously delivered to me off its own bat.

And it's really on an up to 24 Meg service; the "20 Meg" is just a marketing stratagem.
