I'd suggest taking the laptop round to a friends to see if it behaves there before proceeding to swear at it in a threatening manner until it sorts itself out.

When you saw supplied by the router? You mean are set to get fetched automatically? Or is the IP address of the router in there?

Are you still getting the DoS attack logs?

Which PC were they from?
