I just this morning received an email from Orange with new Terms and conditions�

New Terms and conditions from Orange

We've created a new set of general terms and conditions for your broadband and home phone services.

The new terms and conditions will be applicable to the services you currently enjoy, 30 days from the date of this email.

These contain important information about your broadband and home phone service so please take the time to read them. We won't make any changes to these terms without letting you know first. Click here to see the new terms, or you can request a copy be sent to you via email or post from our customer services team. Please call 0844 873 8586 to request your copy now.

What are the changes as if price or significant then

"We may change the terms and conditions or the Services. If We do,
We�ll give you Written Notice when We can before the change takes effect (See point 2.14 of the terms and conditions). We may also increase or decrease Our prices. Some price increases may give You the right to leave the Agreement without paying a Cancellation Charge (See point 9.3 of the terms and conditions)."

Kicks in.

I think Orange is spelling it all out in preparation for the price increases this coming January 2013, when BT will increase line rental to £15.45 per month. Orange is bound to increase their current £13.50 per month line rental.

I've got Broadband only and I've had the email.

It also paves the way for FTTx which Orange doesn't presently do:

1. Our Network. You can use Our Network to make and receive calls and use the internet through Our Broadband Services. If You have fibre Broadband Services, you can access the internet at even faster speeds.
