How to upgrade, cross-grade and downgrade your "Bright Box"

Hey!

I have found out how to upgrade/cross-grade/downgrade Bright Box firmware. I've just posted this on "the scream" forums (as "unlokia"), so forgive me not typing it all out again:

Our speed has also increased, thanks to now having the required firmware, after a Day & a Half of searching, downloading using my Vodafone dongle at exceptionally slow speeds, our Broadband is now back up & running , you have made me very very happy

Hi, I flash openwrt firmware on my brightbox router but now I want to go back to factory firmware. I tried to flash priimg file from your rips but I got an error saying format isn't correct. How can I change the format. Also there is custom bootloader which only allows to update firmware and no option to update bootloader is available. Thanks.

Do you have a BrightBox 2? That firmware will be for the BrightBox 1.
