PC's lose connection to Bright Box...

Hi Guys, my first post here, so go easy and if it's in the wrong place I'll guess you'll move it.

I've had Fiber broadband from EE for some months now and never had a problem. In-fact, I do not have a problem with the broadband itself now.

My problem appears to be the addition of a new PC to the network. Since I have had it the network periodically slows right down, then disappears and after a few minutes comes back. A quick look into the Bright Box log shows lots (and I mean lots) of attacks that appear to coincide with this:

The IP is the new PC. I have searched for this but I cannot find a definitive solution. I do know that simply unplugging or disabling the network card in the machine resolves the issue for the other devices.

I have an XP PC and a Vista laptop. Whenever I switch the Vista on I get reams of those 'Possible DoS attack' msgs from it for a while. It causes no other issues, certainly not discons. I just ignore them. The XP does not generate any such msgs.

EDIT: I should blank out that MAC addy in your post.
