EE Broadband and Line rental price increase

Even with the price increase EE is still good value at £6 per month for unlimited ADSL2+ home broadband (To get this price you must have EE, Orange or T-Mobile, mobile phone contract) and be in the EE network area.

LINE RENTAL
Line rental is £15.40 a month or you can choose to pay using Line Rental Saver.
Line Rental Saver allows you to pay for 12 months line rental in advance. We�ll apply a charge of £132 to your first bill, the equivalent of paying for line rental at cost of £11 a month. Your Line Rental Saver payment is non-refundable and cannot be paid in instalments. Each month you will receive a monthly line rental credit on your account.

Try any postcode in Littlewick Green Exchange, Market 3 with 21CN! The reason is that Littlewick Green was never LLU'ed by Orange.

EDIT: Conversely, try any postcode in Theale Exchange, Market 1 withOUT 21CN! The reason is that Theale was LLU'ed by Orange.

Looks the surcharge for 'out-of-area' has increased to £15 from £10 as well as the surcharge for not having an EE mobile to £10 from £5.

I'd already shown you how EE Network Area was defined: Orange Broadband Network Area.

Are existing custs' prices increasing? I've received no notification.

AFAIK the pricing is for new customers, but if I was out of contract I would advise keeping a careful eye out.

The offers/price changes from EE are often a little messy, as we could see old line rental prices mentioned in some places.

Orange LLU is now a thing of the past; there will always be exceptions to the rule. In general if the exchange has 21CN WBC status and ADSL2+ at the customer�s area street cabinet, then they should qualify for the £10 per month broadband discount.

It looks for home broadband and line rental, only if you change your contract will they then increase the charges to the new prices.

Orange LLU might be of the past, but its pricing structure and areas aren't! 'In General' is not good enough:

'The £5 per month broadband discount' for 'in-area' was never £5; it used to be £10 and is now £15.

I'm not sure you understand how BB is supplied. ADSL2+ does not exist at the cab; only at the exchange. It's Fibre that exists at a street cab.
