I had two brief outages at about 16:13 and 16:22, yesterday, Thursday 26/2/2015.

First time I have seen such when on-line, since upgrading to VDSL back in early June 2014.

The Internet LED on the Brightbox 2 went fully OFF, whilst the Broadband LED flickered mainly Orange in colour.

Could this be the recent faulty firmware upgrade that's going the rounds? Tho' as far as I've heard it was only the BB1.

I suspected that it may have been lightning strikes "somewhere"; and enquired of my son at the Met Office.

Apparently there were several between 14:00 and 17:00; but he did not say where in the UK.

And being EE, there is a fair likelihood that France may be involved.

It's the Runtime that was flashed. EE are not v. good at version control.

If you use them, watch out your settings for DHCP IP Reservation or Wireless Bandwidth Control haven't been screwed by it.
