How bad is traffic management?

I'm contemplating an EE fibre connection, mostly for EETV.

How bad is the traffic management on bittorrent etc? It's the one thing putting me off!

I use BBC iplayer and YouTube without any problems and my broadband connection is not slowed down.

I dont use bitTorrent or Peer-2-Peer (P2P), but I have read the traffic management system will slow the connection down to dial-up speed.

Typically, our peak hours are weekdays between 4.30pm to 1am and at weekends between 1.30pm and 1am. During this time, you may find that we manage the following types of traffic:

BitTorrent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent

Peer-to-peer (P2P) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer-to-peer
