If I upload a video to Youtube, files, photos to backup to Google Photos or music etc the internet connection on all other devices becomes unworkably slow until the upload finishes. Not just a bit slower but stupidly slow. It is only me using the connection of a few devices. I haven't activated an QoS rules that I know of.
I other ADSL connections I've had can cope with a household of devices doing multiple things at the same time. I struggle with just one.
My connection speed is good it being Saturday...
For connection to BBC iPlayer and YouTube I do find the Upstream speed is critical and needs to be at Maximum Upstream 1272 (Kbps) if it drops to say 600 (Kbps), the connection will crawl still with the Downstream 11623 (Kbps).
