[link to this post]

If I "rent" a film from the video store -

1] How long do i have to watch it and what happens at the end of the time period ?

2] How many times can i watch it in that period ?

I done this and found this:

Consumers who rent a movie from the video delivery service have 14 days to watch the content. Once content playback is started, consumers have a full 24 hours to enjoy their rental.

48 hours to watch content once you start playback, or was on the ones I did, and it tells you onscreen in the XMB when it will expire. They do not automatically delete, so watch your disk space.

SD is around 1.8GB to 2GB and 1.3Mbps bit rate
HD is around 8GB and 8to9Mbps bit rate, i.e. almost BBC HD on Sky

Sound is only two channel, so if you have 5.1 surround it may not match Sky HD for sound quality.

Thanks to both of you for the info, can you tell me if the video SD is upscaled in the same way as it upscales DVD ?
