Tedious game of the year award...

Thought this would be a bit of fun, what was your most tedious game of 2010? The game you wish you hadn't bought, the one you wasted a week on then realised you got absolutely nothing from it?

For me it was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on 360 / Kinect or Kane & Lynch, both of them were tedious, both of them took about 8 hours to complete, 8 hours I'll never get back

To many to mention how long have you got,game of the year for me was Red Dead Redemption no doubt about it...........

Spot on. I've never been so dissappointed by a game, both me and the gf.

Yeah it did not exactly blow me away at first but there are game modes that i do enjoy such as Domination.

Certainly not up tp MW 1 stanndards or 2 for that fact .........

On a blackops related note i got the latest issue of pcgamer through the other day which had their review of it (since acti doesn't like giving PC games out before release for reviewers), the score they give it was 64 lol, nice to know someone has the balls to tell acti it sucks.

I haven't bought a huge amount of games in the past year but I think I am going to have to go with blackops too. I did try hard to not hype myself up over it and I also tried hard to tell myself it was a good game for a while. But the reality is that the SP was distinctly average and in MP I prestiged 2-3 times quickly, got very bored and haven't played on since about 3 weeks after release!

I did, embarrassing I know, but I wanted to try it on the Kinect and it was £20 in Tesco so thought I would get it. Completed the Kinect part in 2 hours, completed the main game in about 8 and it was so repetitive and boring! Such an unimaginative game

Girlfriend bought Kinect and its pretty good but its more or less like the move with little to play on it at the moment.

Had a bit of fun with Kinect sports but after 30 minutes i am back to the traditional way of playing games with a Pad.

Child of Eden is out soon and that may be interesting on Kinect as its from the maker of Rez.

Yea Child of Eden looks good, looking forward to trying that! It's not the same as the Move, you don't have to hold a pesky controller I really like Sports, I've spent hours on it, I'm an achievement hunter though so for me its perfect, play on it for an hour a night and it gives me my exercise for the day and a couple of achievements! Yea!

Not gonna bother with anymore games though for a couple of months, until they have some good stuff out!

Well jaxx my friend you may not stick to your word as there are many potential great games out in Jan,feb and march.

A week Friday we have little big planet 2,followed by dead space 2 the following week,then feb we have kill zone 3 and bullet storm on the same day.

Then march we have the much anticipated crysis 2 and a load of others that have massive potential including deux 2 human revolution.

So the next 8 weeks are massive in terms of game releases and I am sure the temptation may prove beyond you mate

Sports is a good game but not mind blowing,I have to say kinect is quite impressive but needs killer games,it responds well to movement but does need a bit of room even more so than move

So bad I took it to a shop and traded it for a £34 voucher. First time I've ever traded a game so it must be bad
